Brian Cute – CEO

Brian assumed this leadership position as CEO of Public Interest Registry in 2011, backed by more than 13 years of experience in the Internet and communications industry.

Prior to joining Public Interest Registry, Mr. Cute served as Vice President of discovery services for Afilias, the world’s leading provider of Internet infrastructure solutions and registry systems provider to Public Interest Registry for the .org domain. His experience within the domain name system (DNS) runs deep, having had management positions in both a leading domain name registrar, Network Solutions, as Director of Policy, and a leading registry, VeriSign, as Vice President of government relations. He is an active participant in the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) community and has twice served as Chair of the ICANN Accountability and Transparency Review Team.

Law & Policy

Elizabeth Finberg – Vice President and General Counsel, VP

Ms. Finberg brings nearly two decades of experience as a commercial litigator and problem solver. Prior to joining Public Interest Registry, she represented large, small and medium business, as well as individuals in federal and state courts throughout the country in complex commercial cases involving antitrust, banking, employment, securities, and IP related issues. She is a former delegate to the Virginia State Bar for the 19th Judicial Circuit and a devoted advocate for integrity and civility in the legal profession.

Paul Diaz – Vice President, Policy

Mr. Diaz brings nearly two decades of policy development and analysis experience to the Public Interest Registry policy team. Prior to joining Public Interest Registry Mr. Diaz spent over 12 years as Senior Policy Manager for Network Solutions, where he led policy development and compliance initiatives that impacted the company’s corporate objectives as they related to new TLDs, ICANN consensus policies and industry regulations. During his tenure, Mr. Diaz was also instrumental in acting as the company’s voice of governmental advocacy through presenting various issues to Congress and Executive branch agencies.

Finance & Operations

Marc Saitta, CFO, VP, Finance & Administration

Marc leads Public Interest Registry’s financial and operational procedures with extensive experience in developing and executing financial strategies to optimize growth and enhance operational execution.

Previously, Saitta served as chief financial officer for the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators. During his five-year tenure at AAMVA, he led all financial strategy on behalf of the $40-plus million association, including developing a comprehensive member rebate strategy, diversifying revenue streams, improving governance and compliance practices, and strengthening human resources, resulting in millions of dollars in savings. He previously served in executive financial roles at Hanley Wood, Vois Inc., Smithsonian Business Ventures, America Online and Ogden Corporation. Saitta is a native of northern VA/DC metro area and a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
